About Kandy
Kandy is the cultural heart of Sri Lanka and the last royal capital of the island, set among mountains, tea plantations and rainforest. It is home to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses a relic of Lord Buddha and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Around the central lake you will find the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, traditional Kandyan dance and drum performances, spice gardens, gem museums and craft workshops.
